I wanted to set up a consultancy that wasn’t so formal and so ‘crisis orientated’ (as most consultancies are) and provided space to simply bounce things around as things came up!   

Most problems we have are an aggregation of small problem or issues not fully talked through or dealt with. On the other hand, most miracles and solutions are a series of mini miracles and solutions that are all bunched together as one big miracle rather that for how it all actually came about.   

My idea is to be available (particularly to people who have completed The Survival Guide and have a small church budget that they can draw from) almost any time any day for small chats or large chats about small irritations, crucial financial decisions, relational issues or just because you stubbed your toe.   

Nothing would be off the radar- as I’ve quoted in the course, ‘it’s not the sand in a man’s shoe that slows him down, but the grain of sand in a man’s eye.’   The Bounce Consultancy runs on a weekly subscription basis ($49 AUD) and makes me available for calls and texts almost any day (with sensitivity to EST- Eastern standard time Australia).   

The way it works is that you pay one single payment of $49 on davegilpin.store. You’ll get an email  that enables us to set up either a FaceTime, a Zoom or a WhatsApp call and if you feel good about it, we can then set up the subscription that can be cancelled anytime. This is not a professional counselling service, so if you need that, please go their first!  

 I would have loved this throughout my ministry years. Often friends and those on your leadership team tend to tell you want you want to know, and some things you don’t really want them to know. Everyone else is either not that interested or charge so much that you can only have them on board for a week at best.   

It’s like an official/unofficial consultancy…. a mix of a listening ear, some good advice and an external viewpoint that you can either take on board or throw overboard.   

It may also give you some added confidence that you’re on the right track. And that kind of confidence is worth every penny. You might not use me that much, but those few times can mean everything.   

You’ll find me friendly, my thoughts refreshing and my availability reassuring (after the first week, it ususlly starts with a text, ‘Have you got a minute?’)
